LED Energy Efficiency Solutions
Utilise power more effectively with recurrent savings to the bottom line
Energy Efficiency Solutions – LED's
Utilising LED (Light Emitting Diode) lighting can see potential savings of 50-80% via proven technology. Kenshaw works with specialist LED partners to formulate the right replacement strategy for you.
Kenshaw's Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP) may also help your project generate Energy Savings Certificates (ESC's) that can be traded in to help offset the cost of your project."
The long lifespan reduces maintenance expenses and makes these bulbs particularly suitable for difficult to reach locations.
LED's are better at absorbing vibrations than either incandescent or fluorescent lighting, making them a better choice for industrial applications such as mining or bridges.
Why Switch to LED?
LED Technology offers a variety of advantages.
Savings to your budget – Lower power consumption from LED's means that installing LED lighting can have an immediate bottom line impact.
Lifespan – Depending upon the product and its application, LED's can have useful lives of up to 6-10x fluorescent and incandescent lamps. The long lifespan reduces maintenance expenses and makes these bulbs particularly suitable for difficult to reach locations or where lights out situations cause significant disruptions.
Operating characteristics – LED's operate at lower temperatures, are not sensitive to low temperature and are unaffected by on-off power cycling. LED's can be more efficient in cold environments (outdoor or cold room lights) and better for applications requiring frequent on-off switching (including offices).
Shock resistant & vibration resistant – LED's are better at absorbing these impacts than either incandescent or fluorescent lighting.
Kenshaw LED Value Plan
Kenshaw can help unlock value for you by switching to LED's. Kenshaw will provide a quote for the complete replacement of your existing lighting with an appropriate LED solution backed by warranties.
1. Data Capture
We will visit your site, or data may be collected by your on-site electrician, to identify the types of lights available, quantity of lights and ceiling heights. We will also need your electricity bill and building code.
If possible, photos of each light type would be taken at this stage. These will be needed for an ESC application where relevant.
2. Quotation/Value Plan
We formulate our quote and value plan for your system. This includes an assessment of any available ESC's.
Once we progress, we finalise the required information and package for the ACP.
At this point, customers provide a system deposit.
Kenshaw or our LED partner installs the LED's. Final payment made upon completion of project.
4. Data capture after installation
We can arrange an ongoing monitoring and optimisation plan for your site, tailored to your requirements.
There may also be grants available for ACPs to investigate and audit your site's broader energy efficiency. This can cover items such as Power Factor Correction, energy efficient motors and HVAC.
